Possessive adjectives
Choose mon, ma, mes correctly — they agree with the noun, not with you.
Tricky: « my » in English is one word. In French, it changes based on the gender and number of what is owned.
The « my » trio
« mon » before masculine singular OR before any vowel. « ma » before feminine singular consonant. « mes » before any plural.
- my father · my mother · my parents
- my friend (in front of a vowel, even feminine)
Sample exercise
